EMDR

Then you hold life like a face / between your palms, a plain face, / no charming smile, no violet eyes, / and you say, yes, I will take you / I will love you, again. —Ellen Bass

Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) is a structured therapeutic modality with extensive research proving its efficacy for treating trauma. EMDR is especially beneficial for those who have difficulty talking about their traumas, as much of the work is done through nonverbal, cognitive processing. Together we will discuss your appropriateness for EMDR, create a treatment plan, develop coping skills and resources, and uncover freedom from your traumas and negative self-beliefs.
